Wardrobe Selection from Our Client Closet

Once your hair and makeup are complete, we head to the client closet together. This is where things get really fun. I’ll hand-select pieces based on our earlier conversation, pulling options from our extensive collection that includes sizes from Small to 5XL in every color you can imagine. I also love when clients spot something they didn’t expect to love and want to try it on.

Our closet includes various styles—delicate lace, bold and edgy, romantic and soft, vintage-inspired pieces. You’ll try on different options, we’ll talk about what makes you feel confident, and we’ll decide on your favorite outfits for the session (you’re welcome to bring your own pieces too if you have something special you want to wear).

Here’s something I always tell clients: lingerie looks completely different on camera than it does on the hanger. After your photography session, here’s where CCP Boudoir does something different: we send you out for lunch or shopping for about an hour and a half to two hours while I edit and prepare your images for the same-day reveal.

This break serves multiple purposes. First, you get to decompress and process the experience you just had. Most women leave the session feeling euphoric, empowered, and a little bit in disbelief about what just happened. That time gives you a chance to ride that high, grab food (you probably haven’t eaten much today!), and mentally prepare for seeing your images.

I recommend exploring nearby Jeffersontown shops, grabbing lunch at a favorite Louisville restaurant, or just sitting in your car texting your friends about how amazing you feel. Whatever you need to process this experience.

Meanwhile, back at the studio, I’m soft editing your images, creating your private online gallery, and preparing for your reveal appointment. This immediate turnaround is intentional—I want you to see these images while you’re still in that empowered, confident mindset from the session.
