I’ve known Cristy for a few years and I’ve followed her photography page on Facebook for years now and also her boudoir photography. I’ve reached out to her a few times for myself regarding the boudoir sessions but I just haven’t been able to schedule a session due to my own personal schedule and stuff. My son is a senior in high school, I posted a post on my Facebook page asking for suggestions for photographers to contact for his senior pictures- I wanted a couple different people to contact and look at their work. I contact quite a few people, looked at their work, their profiles, their pictures and their prices. Prices weren’t bad at all, honestly they were priced very well I’d say, there pictures were good but not great. As my son was my first born, my only son and my best friend I wanted these pictures to be absolutely amazing, stunning- these were going to be once in a lifetime, he’s only a senior in high school once. I kept going back to Cristy’s 3 different packages, and all of her photos. I even messaged her quite a few times and she was never ever hesitant on answering any of my questions even if I hadn’t booked a thing with her- EVER. I sat there and told myself, money isn’t anything when it comes to my son, his only senior pictures I’ll ever have and you pay for the quality of what you want and what your going to get. So I reached out to Cristy, I paid the deposit, signed the contract and booked his senior picture session!! I never once thought twice after I paid her. When my son came home from getting his pictures taken with her, his first words to me were “mom she was amazing and badass”. And that’s a lot coming from him because he’s one picky kid. She even sent me 2 pictures that night just because, she didn’t have to but she did because she herself wanted too! About a week and a half later my son told me he wanted one of his senior pictures on his graduation party invitations and I told him I’d see what I could do. I reached out to her and she was honest with me (as always) and said she would do what she could and that she would not send an unedited picture. She then messaged me and said the gallery was ready for review and to take my time and choose my 20 pictures (per my contract). When I saw those unedited pictures with water marks on them I literally had tears in my eyes because how amazing they were even unedited. I couldn’t believe how amazing she did with my son and how talented she is. I’ve seen her work for years but seeing it with your own child makes it even more special. So I took my time and picked my 20 and sent them back. The very next day she messages me and told me she edited 1 picture for his invitation. It’s the small things that make someone happy and come back to someone because she has so many days to edit all 20 pictures but yet she took the time out just to edit 1 for us just for an invitation knowing how busy and slammed she is and having a family of her own. I will definitely be using her again. People may say “you paid that much for pictures?” Or “I’d never pay that for senior pictures, so and so could’ve done it cheaper.” My thing is, you pay for what you get and I know very well I paid for high quality pictures, with a very high quality and talented photographer who takes her time and goes above and beyond for her clients and for a very good price and I’d do it again and again. Thank you Cristy for making this momma proud and happy and for doing such amazing work!!! It’s truly appreciated!!
