What It Includes

Celebrate your little one’s big milestone with a fun, custom session created just for them! Your investment starts with a consultation to plan the perfect celebration. To secure your session, a nonrefundable fee of $499 is required, along with a signed contract. Your investment will include:

What the day looks like

Your little one’s first birthday session is a fun, relaxed celebration designed to capture this incredible milestone! Here’s what to expect:

Before Your Session: We’ll hop on a quick consultation call to discuss your vision, choose a theme, and select the perfect color scheme. Whether you want whimsical, elegant, or playful, we’ll design a setup that reflects your child’s personality.

Day of Your Session: When you arrive, everything will be ready! I provide all the props, outfits (sizes 12-24 months), and accessories. We’ll have your professionally coordinated smash cake ready, and the fun backdrop all set up. Just bring your little one and your family’s smiles!

The Celebration: Sessions typically last 30-60 minutes depending on your child’s mood and energy. We’ll capture family photos, individual portraits, the cake smash moment, and if you’d like, a fun bath splash to clean up! This is a relaxed, joyful experience – no stress, just celebration.

After the Session: You have two options for viewing your images. We can do a same-day reveal where you head out for lunch while I soft edit your photos (about 90-120 minutes), then return to view and order your products. Or, we can schedule a separate online reveal appointment at your convenience.

Selecting Your Products: During your reveal appointment, we’ll go through all your beautiful images and select your favorites. Then you’ll choose how to display them – custom albums, wall art, digital collections, or all of the above!

All First Birthday experiences require a minimum investment of $699 + tax towards prints, products, or digital image collections. You can choose from à la carte items or from one of the collections I offer.

The best time is typically within 2-3 weeks of your child’s actual first birthday. They’re usually walking (or close to it), have great expressions, and are at that perfect age where they’re curious and playful. We can schedule earlier or later if needed to work with your family’s schedule!

Nope! I coordinate a professionally made smash cake that matches your chosen theme and color scheme. It’s one less thing for you to worry about, and it’s designed specifically to photograph beautifully and be safe for your little one to enjoy.

I have a client closet with adorable outfits in sizes 12-24 months that coordinate perfectly with each theme. You’re also welcome to bring your own special outfit! Many families bring a cute outfit for family photos and portraits, then use one of my outfits for the cake smash.
